One-Day Getaway Urban Retreat

Are you already feeling like you need a holiday from the holidays? Are you ready for a reset? Or maybe you’ve made a commitment to self-care this year and ready to start the year off strong.

Local Health Integrative Clinic is hosting a One-day Getaway Urban Retreat on Jan. 22nd in East Vancouver.

Treat yourself to a day of rest, rejuvenation, connection, and fun. Each hour there will be a different workshop offering – from yoga, medicine making, interactive talks, and more. I will be leading a session on Dreaming, Planning & Making it Happen! Or – how to set intuitive intentions against the S.M.A.R.T goal framework so that your vision aligns with your energy and values *and* has a higher success rate.

As we settle into January, many people are looking ahead at the year and planning, possibly setting some goals or intentions. Some goal-oriented types may have a list of personal growth action items that they carry forward year after year, checking off the concrete milestones but still feeling a bit empty. Others may have a vision but be frustrated that it never seems to happen.

An intuitive goal involves checking in with yourself and your energy, and creating a target for your vision based on how you’re feeling and how it aligns with your values and lifestyle. This is important for the goal to be meaningful to you and sustain growth in a direction that aligns with your true self.

A SMART goal is somewhat more rigidly defined by being specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound. This structure is important to keep the goal in focus and ensure progress against it so that it be brought out of the realm of “someday”.

Both types of goals are necessary to bring your vision or dream into focus and have a good chance of realizing it.

Other sessions include:
🌿 yoga and gyrokinesis
🌿 breathwork with @wendyissayoga
🌿 intuitive and smart goal setting with me – clinical counsellor, Degan
🌿 optimizing hormones
🌿 medicine making: salves & teas

It’s $149 + GST for the full day, but just $99 if you book before Jan. 17th. Pricing includes all workshops, lunch, and some goodies.
