A grounded presence on your healing journey

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) committed to offering thoughtful, whole-person support to individuals and couples navigating life’s challenges, including anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma, life transitions, identity, grief, and self-esteem.

I offer compassionate, trauma-informed counselling grounded in deep respect for each client’s unique experience. I believe that healing is not a linear path, and that every person has an innate capacity for growth and resilience. I bring that belief into every session alongside evidence-based clinical approaches. My work is collaborative and strengths-based — focused not only on understanding the causes of distress and discomfort, but on developing practical tools and meaningful change.

I meet my clients with genuine warmth, curiosity, and commitment to their healing at every stage of the therapeutic process, whether that is in person, online, or walking together through the forest. I see my role as creating a safe space for you to unpack what you have been holding. I bring in my training, compassion, and capacity for listening / holding the big picture so that you can be in the moment, and be the expert of your lived experience.

Together we explore difficult experiences, understand your inner world, and move towards the life you envision. Life throws its challenges, traumas, and tribulations, but with the right supports we can step back into our own radiance.

We all have unique strengths and life experiences, and I believe that we all have the potential for therapeutic healing and personal growth

I work from a trauma-informed, strengths-based lens, collaboratively defining your goals with you and plotting the path towards emotional wellbeing. I center your experience and knowledge in the therapeutic process, tailoring the approach to each individual but drawing from a range of techniques and modalities. These include narrative exploration, mindfulness, attachment theory, somatic movement, and compassionate inquiry.

Services

From time to time, we all feel at odds with where we want to be and in need support to reconnect with our core values and strengths. Counselling can help gain clarity and alleviate emotional distress. I offer support for issues such as anxiety, depression, stress & burnout, working through life’s transitions, improving relationships and other struggles.

Individual Counselling

I help individuals explore the issues they are facing, find clarity in areas of struggle, and work towards emotional and mental wellbeing. Issues and treatment are specific to each individual and benefits may include increased coping mechanisms and confidence, reduced stress or anxiety, clarity around decisions or improvements in relationships or mood.

My role is to create and hold space for compassion, trust and emotional safety in order to dig into the deeper, more vulnerable places things and guide you through the exploration, offering perspective, frameworks for understanding, or tools for implementing.

The rate is $150 + GST for a 50-minute session, for both online and in person. 80 minute sessions are also available, for $225 + GST.

I recommend booking a 20-minute complementary consultation online if you have questions or would like to see if we’re a good fit.

Relationship / Couples Counselling

Relationships come in many forms. I welcome couples who are experiencing communication issues, values mismatch, or issues coping with life’s many stressors that are impacting the relationship, However, I also welcome polyamorous and couples in non-traditional relationships, as well as those in platonic relationships who are experiencing conflict. This might look like tension between adult siblings, or a work partnership gone sour.

In relationship counselling the goals are shared by all members within it, and it may take some time to untangle individual needs, perspectives and values to return the relationship to safety and warmth. My role is to listen without bias, provide safety and reduce conflict in order to break cycles and patterns of stuckness.

The rate is $176 + GST for a 50-minute session, whether online or in person. 80-minute sessions are also available for $265 + GST.

I recommend booking a 20-minute complementary consultation online if you have questions or would like to see if we’re a good fit.
